Islamabad: The Mobile phone services have been restored after a 72 hours black-out in Islamabad.
The mobile services are reinstated right after the agreement between the government and protesters.
The spokesperson of PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) has confirmed that the regulator has issued directions to mobile phone companies for restoration of mobile phone services in islamabad.
It was not for the first time that mobile phone services were shut down in the capital of Pakistan. However, this was the longest down-time instance of 72-hour in history of Pakistan.
It has broken the world record for longest cellular black-out.
However the mobile phone companies and customers are never compensated for the losses during this service black-out and the mobile phone companies keep charging service charges and package fess to its customers.
